Parag Ferdus (Bengali: পরাগ ফেরদৌস; born September 18, 1984), full name Md Ferdus Ul Alam, is a Bangladeshi businessman, consultant, former banker, biomedical engineer, and artist. He is the Founder and CEO of Habitable Solution, a former ATM Operations Engineer at NCC Bank Limited, and a Biomedical Engineer with experience in various medical institutions. He was also a Co-Founder of Digital Solution BD.

Early Life

Parag Ferdus was born in Comilla, Bangladesh. In 1986, his family moved to Dhaka due to his father's business and government service.

Career

Habitable Solution

• Habitable Solution is incorporated in the UK and Bangladesh, operating as an international business entity. Since October 16, 2020, Parag Ferdus has been the Founder and CEO of Habitable Solution.

Banking Sector

• Parag Ferdus completed Training in Banking Foundation from NCC Bank PLC before beginning his career in banking. From 2012, he worked at NCC Bank Limited as an ATM Operations Engineer in the ADC Card Division, Head Office.

Digital Solution BD

• In 2009, he co-founded Digital Solution BD, a computer sales and service center at ECS Computer City.

Engineering and Tech Industry

• Since June 2008, he has been working at Techno Trade, located in Motijheel, Dhaka.

Biomedical Engineering

• Since 2006, he has worked as a bBiomedical engineer in the medical sector at institutions such as: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka Shishu Hospital, in the biochemistry lab, Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) Laboratories, where he was involved in melamine testing in milk powder.

Other Activities

Bangladesh Scouts and Parade

• During his school years in 1998, Parag Ferdus was a Patrol Leader in Bangladesh Scouts.
• He also participated in the Bangladesh Victory Day Parade in 1998.

Television and Fashion

• In 1998, he acted as a child TV actor, playing the younger role of Azizul Hakim in a show broadcast on ATN Bangla.
• During the same period, he participated in Fashion Shows at Rawshan Jamil Academy, held at Jago Art Center.

Personal Life

• Parag Ferdus is married and has a child. He is fluent in Bengali, English, Hindi, and Urdu and has a strong background in Digital Business, Technology, and Engineering.
• I have a unique perspective on life, often seeing things from an angle different from everyone else. I am not deeply concerned with social issues or reforms, and my views tend to be unconventional and independent.
• Making friends doesn’t come easily to me, though I do desire meaningful connections. I believe in research, always seeking knowledge at a deep, foundational level. My mindset is progressive and original, and I take pleasure in forming my own philosophy of life.
• I prefer to work in a structured and strategic manner, planning everything carefully. Confidence is something I strive for, though I don’t always feel fully assured in my actions. However, I remind myself to pursue my plans and ideas consistently.
• When it comes to colors, I dislike "half shades" or muted tones. Electric blue and grey suit me best. Naturally, I have an inventive attitude and enjoy thinking outside the box.
• I don’t feel the need to prove that I am different, even though I know I am. My tendency to express opinions that challenge the norm often leads to opposition, and as a result, I frequently encounter resistance and even make enemies. Despite this, I stand firm in my beliefs, even if it means facing losses.
• Anger is something I struggle with—it can get out of control at times. Friendship with me isn’t easy, as I can only truly connect with a select few. But those who do earn a place in my heart hold a very special position.
